We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments.

Duties

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing to clients.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
• Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in nursing home, assisted living, home health, or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices for caregiving.
• Certification in CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Must be patient, empathetic, and able to handle challenging situations calmly.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.
